What To Expect
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.

What to expect on Sundays?
When you walk through the doors at Watertown Christian Church, you’ll be greeted by the warm smell of fresh coffee and cookies. Our cookie and coffee bar is open before and during service—so feel free to grab a treat and settle in.
Before the Service
If you arrive by 9:30 AM, you’re welcome to join us for Adult Sunday School—a time of learning and discussion in a relaxed setting.
In the Fellowship Hall, we often have a movie (like VeggieTales or another family-friendly, faith-based film) playing to entertain the kids while they play. You’re also welcome to come early and listen in as our worship team practices.

We have options for families, whatever stage of life you're in:
Worship Service
Our service includes both modern & hymn worship music, a short time of announcements, offering, communion, a 30-minute sermon, and often closes with prayer and a worship song. The full service lasts about 65 minutes.
If needed, our Fellowship Hall doubles as an overflow room and also livestreams the service.

The 2nd Sunday of each month is Potluck Sunday. This is a great time to meet new people and connect with our church family over a shared meal. Don’t worry about bringing a dish—just bring yourself. We’d love to have you.

- Nursery is available every Sunday for ages infant through 5 years old during the entire worship service.
- Children’s Church happens during the sermon on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month. Kids are dismissed after the offering and enjoy a 45-minute program designed just for them (Leaders will be alerted if there is a baptism/activity happening at the end of service and will bring children back early as needed).
- On the 2nd and occasional 5th Sundays, kids can stay with their families in the service. We provide activity bags every Sunday, and children’s bulletins/activity packets on those specific Sundays to help them follow along and stay engaged.

What should I wear?
Come as you are! At Watertown Christian Church, you’ll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual. There’s no dress code—just be comfortable. We care more about connecting with you than what you’re wearing.
Do I have to be a member to attend or participate?
Not at all. Whether you’re just visiting, exploring your faith, or looking for a church home, you’re welcome here. You’re free to join us for worship, classes, potlucks, and more—no membership required.
What kind of music do you play during worship?
Our worship team leads with a blend of contemporary Christian music and classic hymns. Whether it’s a newer praise song or a timeless favorite, our goal is to create a meaningful and Christ-centered worship experience for everyone.
